I want to add another 2 useful traffic sources: submitting articles in article directories like ezinearticle or posting on forums on your niche. I personally use this 2 sources and these give me a good targeted traffic

Well these are really handy tips. The other things that you could do is:

1) Facebook ads

2)Squidoo Lens

3)Slide Share Slides

4)Yahoo Answers

There are a lot of sites that can generate traffic now. In fact, there are so many that it can be annoying to see all the icons for them when you are scrolling through content on a site. Even Facebook has a social media link you can post on your site now.

I think blogging is something that I can do and if it helps me create more traffic that is great news..

I think it can be more effective if you add this same with submitting to bookmarking sites it can be a killer combination!

Giving articles is to social bookmarking sites is an effective way of generating traffic and the best part is that it is cost effective and also it is dependent on quality that increases the value of the traffic that you get.

Having a good blog is great too but it is not that easy.

I think there is nothing that helps as much as social bookmarking. There are a lot of websites that are ready to take up your links and you can always make use of that.

But the important point is to maintain quality, because eventually content is the king and if your product or whatever does not have it in them then they will chucked out.

If you want traffic you have to be inventive.

I remember there is a site called admoolah where visitors post their adsense earnings. I posted my site - www.fxacademy.net as earning 10K per month (A BLUE LIE!!).

My site was listed as a top earner and curious people were clicking through to my site just to find out what kind of site earns so much.
I got a huge traffic burst from this.

The pretending to sell trick works fantastically too.
INVENTIVENESS COUNTS
