I would have had to do a double take on that. If it's from Google, I'd buy it! ;P

An interesting thought - I can only imagine the amount of personal surfing data to be sacrificed in exchange for free wireless broadband, via Uncle Google.

Yea I definitely remember this. I thought it was true as well until I found out it was just a joke. I was ready to give up my broadband provider! But who knows, maybe in the future?

Who knows, maybe sooner or later google will come up of their own broadband internet. They earn huge amount of money, so it is not impossible for them to do it but for now it's just a joke.

Haha totally ridiculous with the crazy part being that Google could actually pull something like this off if they viewed it as profitable. They have the brain power and the financial resources to pull off almost anything they choose at this point. Kind of scary actually.

I still find it difficult to understand google's press release that said something like Toilet Internet Service Provider (TiSP) project is a self-installed, ad-supported online service. It is completely free to any customer with Wifi enabled PC and a toilet that is connected to the sewage system.
