  1. Security is extremely important these days. I know a lot of people that put their entire lives into the blogs and would be devastated to lose any of it. Always important to have a secure system and back ups!

  2. Lot’s of important things you need to do to secure your WordPress site on this infographic…

If you’re wondering HOW to do this you might benefit from the WordPress Security Checklist I put together after some of my sites were compromised….

The checklist can be downloaded for free on http://www.wpsecuritychecklist.com.

Hopefully it can help other people securing their WordPress sites…

  3. Sometimes you need security at a different level. WordPress is a great CMS but often there are times when you want an extra layer ontop of it. Imagine if every file uploaded to your web server/vps would be sent through a specific scanner for web malware. Check out http://www.uploadguardian.com and sign up for the beta. It’s coming out this summer.

  4. Security is one issue, which is least dealt with, at least in my case. It is one of those things that I always leave for the end, and thus end up paying minimum attention to. But obviously, I’ve learnt my lessons, the hard way. As a blogger, the security of your blog is about just as important as the blog itself. What good is it, if you put your sweat and blood and all your efforts into making a blog but don’t put the adequate security? The damage is huge, more to the self-esteem than the blog. Definitely not the kind of thing you’d want to take for granted. And the infographic stresses the point just perfectly.

  5. WordPress users must be really aware of the security of their own site and the blog itself. This Infographic will make them understand of better ways to keep their site safe.

  6. yeah, actually security is a big problem today,i have been building websites using joomla and wordpress, some of my joomla sites have been hacked and my wordpress sites are never been hacked,so i think wordpress cms security is better than joomla.
