Yeah, it’s been a year and there hasn’t been much improvement with e-commerce platforms for WordPress. I have tried a few but nothing worked like a real CMS system, I know they will get it right sooner or later, but for now I think there isn’t a single fully operational e-commerce WordPress solution that can satisfy my standards.

I built my ecommerce site http://www.tonerall.com using x-cart before the WordPress alternatives were popular. If I were to do it again, I’d definitely try out one of the wordpress plugins as I’m way too familiar with the wordpress platform now for my publishing/blogging business.

Not tried ecommerce application in WP, for my other web sites I prefer to use Zen Cart and OsCommerce. I will give a try to eShop Cyrus.

For now I’d rather use WordPress for Blogsites and not for E-commerce sites. I’ll check these out and maybe I change my mind.
