i think windows users prefer chrome much as it is fast

I still see most people use internet explorer on most sites. Some tech sites most are firefox but the rest seem to use explorer more often.

It depends on content of site. Most people still use IE but people who are tech savvy like firefox better. Most sites dealing with hosting or website design or SEO have readers that use firefox more. I would like to see stats on something like google search to see real figures.

That WWW stats page is interesting. IE is still king of the hill, and yet most blogs probably have higher Firefox usage. I guess that says something about the blogging crowd. Then again, when you look at what many WordPress themes look like in IE6 for example, which I have to use at work…they look terrible, CSS layout issues in many blog themes probably scare off IE users.

Firefox: 46.07%
Safari: 32.97%
IE: 19.43%
Camino, Mozilla, Mozilla Compatable Agent, Opera: < 1%
